Patricia Adams considers her most important jobs to be Woman of God, Wife, and Mother. Patricia admits that she takes all these attributes into the workplace as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, professional speaker, trainer, consultant, and author. Through her company, Zeitgeist Expressions Inc., Patricia provides individual, marital, family, foster parenting, adoption, and adolescent counseling. Zeitgeist provides services in 18 states, has 53 employees, and serves state, federal and corporate clients.
As a Chaplain for Methodist HealthCare System, Dr. Adams provided emotional, psychological, spiritual, and educational support to survivors of sexual trauma. She firmly believes that “there is nothing more important to the health of our society than a strong, wholesome family unit.” She is working on two books The ABC’s of Change and The ABC's of Parenting. Patricia has mentored five women entrepreneurs who have established private practices to provide mental health services. She also mentors groups in Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Alaska, and another in Maryland. Patricia is currently providing financial support and mentoring to two students attending secondary school in Uganda, Africa. Patricia serves on a number of boards in the mental health field, and has been a member of NAWBO since 2003.
